The Best LEGO Deals We’ve Found in Amazon’s October Prime Day Sale

The LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant set is simply a delight. And at $35, it's also a killer deal. That's over 40% off list price. Real bonsai trees are incredibly cool. But they're also famously fussy and difficult to maintain. A much easier and more convenient alternative is this LEGO set of three bonsai trees that lets you create your own little zen garden. It comes with a ginkgo bonsai tree with yellow leaves, a black pine bonsai tree with green needles, and a wisteria bonsai tree with hanging lilac flowers. And once you build them, you can use them as a permanent decoration for your home or office.

This set is like its own mini Renaissance festival. It's a sizable set made up of 3,304 pieces. It has you build a number of buildings, including a farmhouse, cheese factory, the Broken Axes Inn, a shieldsmith’s workshop, and a castle watchtower. It comes with eight minifigs and has all sorts of fun little details baked in. It's not cheap, even on sale, but you may not get another chance to save 20% on it anytime soon.

There have been plenty of excellent Disney LEGO sets, but this is one of my favorites. It's the villainous Cruella's gorgeous 1950s car that's mostly curvy fenders and looooooong hood. It also has those giant, close-together headlights. I just love it. This set comes with a Cruella minifigure, plus a Dalmation pup, and it's on sale for only $35, which is super reasonable.

With The Mandalorian & Grogu hitting theaters next year, now is a good time to pick up this LEGO Star Wars set. It has you build our boy Baby Yoda, who looks adorable even made out of blocks. His hover pram is also included, so he can get where he needs to go. It even comes with a minifigure version of Grogu in the pram to set next to the placard.

Not all LEGO sets are based on famous brands. LEGO plants are a growing theme, and their popularity is easy to explain. They let you build beautiful decorations you can put around your house, or give as a gift. This one is a dried flower centerpiece, perfect to put in the middle of your dinner table, mantel, or coffee table.

This is where it all started. This set is a diorama of the first scene in all of Star Wars, when Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers board the ship where Princess Leia has the Death Star plans. It's a pretty modest set, but it's inexpensive (especially on sale) and it has neat details like levers you can flick to "blast open" the entrance door.

I love 3-in-1 sets because they’re so reusable. While most LEGO sets let you build one thing, these let you build three sets, all using the same bricks. In this case, you can build three woodland animals: a fox, a squirrel, and an owl. Note that of course, you have to take one animal apart to build the next, as they all use the same bricks.

If you’re buying for a kid, this set from the LEGO Friends theme is a great pick. Designed for the 8+ age range, the set has you build an elaborate tree house that’s straight out of Swiss Family Robinson. It’s a terrific set to play with, as it has a swing, zip-line, slide, and climbing wall for the mini dolls to play on. There’s also a canoe and a separate island.
