Apple iPads Are on Sale for Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days 2025

The 11-inch A16 iPad is the model we'd recommend most people should get, simply because it’s the baseline model and the most affordable to buy. And while it’s not as powerful as the others, it has plenty of power to handle normal tablet computing tasks, including streaming. If you like smaller form factors, we'd recommend you pick up the iPad mini instead. If you need more power, like for coding, video editing, and other power-hungry tasks, look at the Air or Pro models below.

The iPad mini has a slightly better processor over the standard iPad, which is nice. So while you may normally want to pay less for a smaller tablet, you will potentially get more longevity out of this model in the end. And I do love the smaller form factor. It’s a perfect tablet for reading ebooks and consuming information, in that there’s not a massive block of text on the screen, like with the bigger iPads.

The iPad Air comes in two sizes: 11 inches and 13 inches. Instead of running on one of Apple’s phone and tablet chips, it actually runs on the M3, which was designed for Macs. So this is basically as powerful as last year’s MacBook Air, which is really something. Most people wouldn’t need that much power in their tablet, but if you do, you’d know it.

If you absolutely, positively must have the most powerful tablet on the market, then this is it. Like the Air above, it comes in two sizes: large and extra-large. It’s also equipped with the latest MacBook Air chip, the M4. It packs plenty of power to handle anything you need to throw at it. But with that power, it’s also pricey. Thankfully, both models are on sale for at least $100 off during today's sale.
