Amazon Prime Day’s 2026 Sale Dates Have Been Announced, Get Ready for a Four-Day Event - IGN Image

Prime members, ready your wallets... Amazon Prime Day's 2026 sale dates have officially been announced for June 23 to 26. While this is earlier than the July slot that the sale event usually lands in, this year's sale is following the pattern of last year's by offering four days of deals.

For Prime members, this is a solid amount of time to browse through the savings Amazon has to offer. After all, this is one of the biggest sale events of the year behind Black Friday, so it's nice to be able to take your time seeing everything the retailer has on sale.

However, it's worth noting that those interested in participating in the sale event have to be Amazon Prime members.

If you're curious how you can join Prime ahead of the sale event this year, a membership costs $14.99/month or $139/year. There's also a 30-day free trial to take advantage of, though you're only eligible for it if you're a first-time subscriber or haven't signed up for Amazon Prime in the last 12 months.

There's even a Prime plan for 18 to 24-year-olds where they can test it out with a six-month free trial, then pay $7.49/month or $69/year. If you want a greater breakdown of these plans, though, check out our rundown of Amazon Prime Membership plans and prices.

Once you find a plan that works, you'll be able to explore everything Prime Day has to offer. Alongside a variety of discounts, the retailer will also offer a Today's Big Deals drop during the sale at three points during the day (12 a.m., 8 a.m., and 1 p.m. PDT) that features five or more offers on exclusive or trending products, but that's not all. There will also be limited-time offers available and some early deals are already live, which you can learn more about below.

Check Out These Early Prime Day Deals

In more good news, shoppers don't even have to wait for Prime Day to kick off to save. Amazon already has quite a few early deals available that are worth exploring, and plenty for shoppers to expect as we get closer to the sale.

We've gathered up some of our favorite deals so far below, and as we get closer to the sale's start date, that selection will surely grow.

Amazon notes that Prime members can "save up to 60% off devices enabled with Alexa+," alongside being able to save "up to 65% off select devices across Kindle, Ring, Echo, Fire TV, Blink, and eero" as well. That's certainly not all, though.

On top of individual item deals, Amazon is also offering Prime members free Same-Day Delivery on grocery orders over $25 in most areas. It's also offering exclusive savings at Whole Foods Market and an extra 10% off sale items there for Prime members.

Alongside that, small business storefronts are also offering early deals, and Amazon Haul is offering deals as low as $1.

There's plenty for avid readers to enjoy as well. According to Amazon, Prime members can take advantage of "Up to 45% off Kindle Device bundles, up to 65% off print books, up to 80% off top Kindle titles, and three months free of Kindle Unlimited and Audible."

3 Months of Audible for $0.99 Per Month

Audible's June deal is now live. Both new and returning Audible subscribers can sign up for three months of Audible Standard for just $0.99 per month for three months. You don't need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of this deal. After the three months is up, your subscription will convert to the standard $8.95/mo, so make sure to cancel beforehand if you don't want to continue with the service.

For those who utilize Prime Video, there's also up to 50% off select rentals and purchases, and select subscriptions starting at $0.99/month. That's a fantastic deal if you have a growing list of movies you've been hoping to catch up on.

Amazon also notes that traveling Prime members can enjoy, "Up to 30% off base rates with Avis and Budget, plus 10% off select Chicago hotels." Plus, there are some sweet bonuses for Prime Visa and Prime Store Card holders (or those interested in signing up), which you can read more about on Amazon's early Prime Day deals page.

Prime Day 2026 Limited-Time Offers

This year's Prime Day sale event also features some limited-time offers for members. These range from a sweepstakes for free groceries for a year to a Spider-Man: Brand New Day early screening. Have a look at what's available for shoppers below, per Amazon:

  • Free Groceries for a Year sweepstakes - As its title states, customers who spend $15 or more on a grocery order at Amazon have an exciting chance to win free groceries for a year. Winners are announced weekly in the lead-up to Prime Day, and you can learn more on the Amazon grocery sweepstakes page.
  • Alexa for Shopping picks up the tab - Want a chance to win a $1,000 Amazon gift card? Set up a deal alert with Alexa by June 18 for a chance to win. 100 winners will be selected by Prime Day, and you can learn more on the Alexa sweepstakes page.
  • Spider-Man: Brand New Day early screening - This offer is a particularly cool one if you're a Marvel fan. Prime members have a chance to see an exclusive early screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 29 in select theaters. Just visit the Amazon page for this offer to sign up for notifications.
  • Little Caesars $5 pizza - Prime members can score a tasty $5 classic large pepperoni or cheese pizza from Little Caesars between June 15 and 26. According to Amazon, this is "redeemable up to five times on different days for savings of up to $30 depending on location." Check out the Amazon Little Caesars offer page for more details.

Should You Shop Prime Day or July 4th Sales?

Considering Prime Day's sale event lands ahead of July 4 sales this year, it's worth taking advantage of what Amazon has in store. As mentioned earlier, it is one of the biggest sale events of the year, so there's likely to be greater price cuts than what you'd see over the July 4 period, but that doesn't mean you should count it out completely.

While Prime Day deals can sometimes be price-matched at other retailers, you'll likely find a wider variety of retailers offering discounts during the July 4 sale period. So, if you'd prefer to shop deals outside of Amazon, that could be your time to search. But if you're a Prime member curious what Amazon has on sale, Prime Day is your best bet.
