The new scenarios provide vastly different challenges to players. In one scenario, the game begins 100 years after a nuclear war ravaged the Earth. The other is set 20 years prior to the arrival of the main alien fleet, where players have to marshal the world to fight an enemy no one yet believes exists. The Dark Skies DLC for Terra Invicta will be available on Xbox on PC, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Steam on July 27, 2026.
