The Dark Knight and LEGO are the sort of odd couple pairing that shouldn't work on paper, but are brilliant in practice. The moodiness and psychological torment of the source material, and the blocky medium through which it's translated, creates a humorous juxtapostion. The Joker, terrifying though he is, looks adorable as a LEGO Minifigure.
LEGO Batman sets tend to cycle very quickly, from the time that they're launched to the time they're retired. The designers have a near endless well of Batman media to draw from – from comic books, to TV shows, to Hollywood blockbusters.
One of their best designs, inspired by the 1966 classic television show starring Adam West, is an 1822-piece homage to the show's Batmobile. Here are the best LEGO Batman sets that you can buy as of June 2026.
LEGO Batman Best Sets in 2026
Arkham Asylum
One of the largest LEGO Batman sets in recent years, this detailed depiction of Arkham Asylum draws from across the Caped Crusader's history. It comes with 16 minifigures total, which includes 10 of the most infamous inmates/criminals in Batman's rogues' gallery. We built and reviewed this set for its launch, and we were impressed by its continuous, non-verbal storytelling, through tiny details and numerous Easter eggs.
LEGO Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile
For people who prefer their Batman funny rather than brooding, LEGO recreaed the Batmobile from the 1966 Adam West-led TV series. If you open the trunk, you'll find Batman's trusty Bat-Computer. And of course, it also comes with a minifigure of Batman, clad in his signature gray throwback costume.
Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker
Based on Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, this set pays homage to Batman's tank-like tumbler. The tumbler is scaled to minifigure size, allowing Batman to sit comfortably inside. The set also comes with a Bat Signal and two villain minifigures: one of Aaron Eckhart's Two-Face, and the other of Heath Ledger's Joker, complete with a Glasgow smile.
Batman Forever Batmobile
Compact enough to be built in a single sitting, yet detailed enough to impress the adult fans of the franchise, the LEGO Batman Forever Batmobile has the same pronounced, ostentatious aesthetic as the movie that inspired it. We built this set at launch, if you want to check out our photo gallery of the entire build.
Batman Logo
Covered in 'greebling' that gives it a sci-fi texture, the Batman Logo celebrates 20 years of LEGO Batman. It comes with a golden Batman minifigure, and if you buy the set, you can unlock the golden skin in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight as well.
Batman & Robin Batmobile
Batman & Robin is not the best movie, but its campy design translates really, really well into LEGO. The massive fins on this set make it stand out from the pack. The Batman & Robin Batmobile is one of three tie-in sets for the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game. If you buy the set, you can unlock its counterpart in the game. We built all three of them and digitally unlocked them too; check them out here.
