Xbox Games Showcase + Gears of War: E-Day Direct Watch Party
The Xbox Games Showcase was filled with some very big surprises and welcome updates on known titles, and you can check them all out right here.
To share some of the highlights though, we were treated to the release date for Gears of War: E-Day and the confirmation it would be Xbox console exclusive, release dates and new info for Fable and Halo: Campaign Evolved, the announcements of Persona 6, Senua, the Xbox 25th anniversary console and controller, Spyro: A Realm Beyond, Doom: The Dark Ages | Revelations, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, and more.

Star Trek: Shadow Frontier Game Reveal Trailer Explores Trek's Darker Side
IGN Live saw the exciting reveal of the upcoming game Star Trek: Shadow Frontier, a mature, story-driven, action-adventure game that offers a different and darker side of Star Trek than is usually the norm. As shown in the reveal trailer, the game also has a notable main character in the form of former Lieutenant Ro Laren, the popular Star Trek: The Next Generation character played by Michelle Forbes. And yes, that's Forbes voicing Ro.
Control Resonant Creative Director on the Sequel Shifting to an Action RPG
We were able to speak to Control Resonant creative director Mikael Kasurinen about why the sequel shifted to an action RPG. He shared that Control is all about these siblings - Jesse and Dylan Faden - and he said the idea of this change was to really spotlight how "both siblings have their own personality and approach and ways of doing things. If Jesse uses a gun, then of course Dylan uses a melee weapon."
